How do I play Address Quest™?
Address Quest™ is played by building and managing a portfolio of Mapstone Address NFTs tied to real-world postal codes.
The core gameplay follows a simple cycle:
- 1. Research real estate market trends: Use Mapstone’s data tools to analyze Zillow Home Value Index (ZHVI) trends and identify postal codes showing strength, momentum, or changing conditions.
- 2. Collect Address NFTs: Strategically mint and trade Address NFTs on Mapstone. Choose addresses in postal codes you believe will perform well and increase in value in the real world.
- 3. Position before month-end: Your portfolio is locked in at the end of each month when Mapstone records a snapshot of all NFT ownership.
- 4. Earn points: Once Zillow releases the ZHVI data for the month that just ended, points are applied based on how your selected postal codes performed. Address NFTs in postal codes with rising market values gain points, while those with declining values lose points.
- 5. Climb the leaderboard: AQ points accumulate across the season as players compete for higher leaderboard positions. Once the prize pool reaches 10,000 ETH, Address Quest™ v1.0 concludes and the top 1,000 players earn ETH rewards.
Players can adjust their portfolio throughout the competition by buying, selling, or reallocating Address NFTs before each month-end snapshot. Strong performance depends on identifying trends early and positioning accordingly.
