What is Mapstone?

Mapstone is the world’s first platform turning real-world addresses into digital assets. Mapstone Labs is a U.S.-based Web3 infrastructure company that anchors real-world street addresses and supported U.S. postal codes as unique NFTs on Ethereum.

Each Address NFT represents a unique real-world street address, while each Neighborhood NFT represents a supported U.S. postal code. Collectors can mint, own, and trade these digital assets through Mapstone. Mapstone NFTs are associated with physical locations but do not convey ownership of the underlying address, land, building, or other real estate.

Activity across the platform powers Address Quest™ and generates royalties for Neighborhood NFT owners. In Address Quest™, owners of eligible Address NFTs compete for ETH rewards based on monthly residential home value changes in supported U.S. postal codes. Neighborhood NFT owners receive 10% from qualifying Address NFT mints and 1% from qualifying Address NFT sales through the Mapstone Marketplace within their postal code.

Geographic activity and market insights generated through the platform may also inform investment strategies pursued by Mapstone Asset Management (Mapstone AM). Mapstone AM is a separate initiative from the NFT platform and Address Quest™. Owning a Mapstone NFT or participating in Address Quest™ does not provide ownership, allocation rights, or financial exposure to Mapstone AM or its assets.
