How do I win ETH in Address Quest™, and what is the payout structure?
To win ETH in Address Quest™, you must finish among the top 1,000 players on the final leaderboard.
Your rank is determined by your total Address Quest™ points. Address NFTs gain or lose points based on monthly residential home value changes in the postal codes captured at each month-end snapshot. Supplemental gameplay activities and bonuses may also contribute to your total score.

How much ETH can I win?
Address Quest™ v1.0 is built around an ambitious target prize pool of 10,000 ETH, funded through on-chain activity across the Mapstone platform.
When the prize pool reaches the level required to fund the full published payout structure, eligible players will receive ETH according to their final leaderboard position:
| Rank Range | Winners | Reward (ETH) |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | 1 | 1,500 ETH |
| 2nd | 1 | 550 ETH |
| 3rd | 1 | 375 ETH |
| 4th–10th | 7 | 100 ETH |
| 11th–25th | 15 | 75 ETH |
| 26th–50th | 25 | 50 ETH |
| 51st–100th | 50 | 35 ETH |
| 101st–250th | 150 | 10 ETH |
| 251st–500th | 250 | 3 ETH |
| 501st–1,000th | 500 | 1 ETH |
The published payout structure totals 10,000 ETH. The amount earned by each qualifying player is based on their final leaderboard position.
If Address Quest™ v1.0 is discontinued before the prize pool reaches the amount required to fund this payout structure, the funded prize reserve will instead be distributed under the publicly disclosed wind-down methodology described in How long does Address Quest™ run?
How are final rankings determined?
Players are ranked according to their total accumulated Address Quest™ points.
If two or more players finish with the same number of points, rankings are determined using the following tiebreakers, in order:
- Total referral rewards earned in ETH
- Number of referral events
- Earlier Mapstone account creation date

What is required to receive an ETH reward?
Finishing in a qualifying leaderboard position does not remove the eligibility and verification requirements. To receive an ETH reward, a qualifying player must:
- Meet the age and jurisdiction requirements
- Complete identity verification (KYC)
- Complete any required compliance and tax documentation
- Claim the reward within the official claim period
