Mapstone determines eligible Address NFT ownership as of 11:59:59 PM UTC on the last day of each calendar month.
What does that mean in your time zone?
UTC is the global reference time. For many U.S. players, this typically translates to:
• 7:59:59 PM ET / 4:59:59 PM PT during daylight saving time
• 6:59:59 PM ET / 3:59:59 PM PT during standard time
For each monthly snapshot, Mapstone identifies the final Ethereum block mined at or before the cutoff. After that block is finalized, Mapstone reads eligible Address NFT ownership and postal code information directly from the Mapstone smart contract at that fixed block.
The block number and block hash are recorded with the snapshot, creating a verifiable record of which wallet owned each eligible Address NFT at month-end. Those are the Address NFTs that get scored for that month’s Address Quest™ cycle.
Example:
After the ownership snapshot is completed, Mapstone waits for the completed monthly residential home value data to become available. Current home value data is provided using the Zillow Home Value Index (ZHVI). Points are then applied based on the performance of the postal codes captured in the snapshot.
