Ethereum transactions do not always appear immediately. A Mapstone mint, purchase, listing, offer, transfer, approval, wrapping, or unwrapping transaction may remain pending while it waits to be processed by the Ethereum network.
The first step is to find the transaction in your connected wallet and check its current blockchain status.
Etherscan will generally show the transaction as Pending, Success, or Failed.
A pending transaction has been submitted but has not yet been confirmed by the Ethereum network.
Speeding up or cancelling a transaction is not guaranteed to succeed if the original transaction is confirmed first. A replacement transaction may also require an additional Ethereum network gas fee.
A pending transaction can also delay newer transactions submitted from the same wallet until the earlier transaction is processed, replaced, or cancelled.
A failed transaction was processed by Ethereum but did not complete the requested action. The NFT will not be minted, purchased, listed, transferred, wrapped, or otherwise changed by that failed transaction.
Ethereum gas fees are generally not refunded when a transaction fails because the network still used computing resources to process it.
Before trying again:
If you rejected or closed the request inside your wallet before it was submitted, there may be no blockchain transaction at all. In that situation, no Ethereum gas fee should be charged, and you can restart the Mapstone action when ready.
A successfully confirmed transaction may take a short time to appear throughout the Mapstone website while the platform processes the blockchain activity.
For completed purchases and transfers, the ownership recorded on Ethereum is authoritative even if the Mapstone interface has not updated yet.
If your wallet does not display a transaction hash and the transaction cannot be found on Etherscan, the request may not have been submitted to Ethereum.
Check your wallet connection, confirm that you are using Ethereum Mainnet, refresh the Mapstone page, and restart the action. Carefully review every wallet prompt before approving it.
If a successful transaction still does not appear correctly on Mapstone after refreshing and allowing time for processing, submit a support ticket through your Account Dashboard.
