How do I use a promo code when minting an NFT?
Mapstone promo codes can provide benefits such as a reduced mint price, Address Quest™ bonus points, or both, depending on the terms of the promotion.
Promo codes apply only to eligible new NFT mints completed on Mapstone. They do not apply to purchases, offers, or other transactions involving NFTs that have already been minted.
Applying a promo code
- Connect the wallet you want to use for the mint.
- Find the NFT you want to mint and click Mint Now. If bulk minting is available, you may select multiple NFTs before continuing.
- Review the selected NFT or NFTs in the minting window.
- Click Enter code, enter your promo code, and click Apply.
- Wait for the confirmation message showing that the code was successfully applied. If the promotion includes a mint-price discount, the updated price will appear in the minting window.
- Review the final mint price and estimated Ethereum network gas fee, then continue with the mint and confirm the transaction through your wallet.
Promo-code eligibility
Each promotion may have its own requirements. A promo code may:
- Expire on a specific date.
- Have a limited number of total uses.
- Have a limit on how many times each wallet can use it.
- Apply only to new or returning users.
- Apply only to certain Address NFT types.
- Apply only to NFTs in certain postal codes, cities, states, or countries.
If a code is expired, has reached its usage limit, or does not apply to the selected NFT, the minting window will display an error explaining why it cannot be used.
Using a promo code with multiple NFTs
When minting multiple NFTs together, a promo code may apply to all selected NFTs or only to those that meet the promotion’s eligibility requirements. If some selected NFTs are not eligible, Mapstone will display a notice and apply the promotion only to the eligible items.
Important information
- Apply the promo code before completing the mint. A code cannot be added after the blockchain transaction has been submitted.
- A mint-price discount does not reduce the Ethereum network gas fee.
- Some promotions may award Address Quest™ bonus points after the qualifying mint is successfully completed.
- Removing an applied code will restore the original mint price.
