How do I claim a custom Address NFT?
A custom Address NFT claim allows you to request a specific eligible real-world street address that is not already available as a prepared NFT on the Mapstone Mint page. This gives you the opportunity to build a collection around addresses that are personally meaningful, strategically valuable, or otherwise interesting to you.
Each eligible street address can be represented by only one Mapstone Address NFT. The address must be complete and available, and it cannot already have been claimed or minted by another user.
Individual apartments, condominiums, suites, and other units within a building do not currently qualify as separate Address NFTs. They are treated as part of the building’s primary street address. See What if an address has multiple apartments or units? for more information.
How to submit a custom Address NFT claim
- Connect the wallet you want associated with the claim.
- Search for a complete street address using the custom claim form on the Mapstone homepage or under Claim New Address NFTs in your Account Dashboard.
- Select the correct address from the search results and confirm its location information.
- If desired, add additional addresses. You can submit up to 10 eligible address claims at once.
- Click Claim Address NFT or Claim Address NFTs to submit the addresses for review.
Submitting a claim is not the same as minting or purchasing an NFT. The claim submission itself is not a blockchain transaction. It sends the selected address to Mapstone for review before it can be approved for minting.
What happens after submission?
After submitting your claim, you will be directed to the Pending section of My NFT Collection, where you can monitor its status.
- Pending: Your address has been submitted and is waiting for review.
- Approved: Your claim has been approved and the Address NFT is ready to mint. The dashboard will display a Mint Now button and an expiration countdown.
- Expired: The exclusive minting window ended before the NFT was minted, and the address is no longer reserved exclusively for your account.
When your claim is approved and ready to mint, Mapstone will send a notification to the verified email address associated with your account. Make sure your email address is correct and verified so you do not miss the approval notification or your limited minting window.

Minting an approved claim
Once approved, the Address NFT is reserved for you during the minting window shown in your dashboard, which is currently 72 hours.
- Connect the same wallet associated with the claim.
- Open the Pending section of My NFT Collection.
- Find the approved Address NFT and click Mint Now.
- Review the mint price and Ethereum network gas fee in your wallet.
- Confirm the transaction and wait for it to be confirmed on Ethereum.
After the transaction is confirmed, the NFT will appear in the Minted section of My NFT Collection and will be owned by your wallet on-chain.
