If you own a Mapstone NFT, other users may submit WETH offers for you to review and accept. The person who made the offer does not need to be present when you accept it.
To receive an email notification each time one of your NFTs receives a new offer, make sure the email address associated with your Mapstone account is verified. See How do I add, change, or verify my email? for instructions.
Marketplace approval and offer acceptance are on-chain Ethereum transactions, so your wallet must contain enough ETH to pay the applicable network gas fees.
After the transaction is confirmed, the NFT transfers to the buyer’s wallet. The offer payment is distributed in WETH according to the Mapstone Marketplace allocation system, and your net sale proceeds are sent to your wallet in WETH.
You can review the allocation breakdown before accepting the offer, including any current Marketplace fee, and any applicable Address Quest™, Neighborhood, charity, or creator royalty allocations.
An offer can be accepted only while it remains active and the buyer still has enough WETH and marketplace spending approval to complete the purchase. Because WETH is not held in escrow, an offer may fail if the buyer spends or transfers the WETH, reduces the approval, cancels the offer, or the offer expires.
If an active offer cannot be completed because the buyer no longer has sufficient WETH or approval, you can try again later or consider another active offer.
